After 51 years in the National Tidy Towns competition Clane has been awarded its first Gold Medal. Members of the Tidy Towns committee were delighted to hear the wonderful news at a ceremony in Croke Park on Friday November 1st.

Tidy Towns is now so much more than about tidiness, it requires generous support from individuals, business and organisations across the community and the county to help achieve such a result.
