Designer Furniture … made in the Men’s Shed
The Clane Men’s Shed was launched in December 2011 and provides a venue for men of all ages to enjoy practical activities like carpentry, furniture restoration, boat-building, and learning computer skills. Guests are sometimes invited in to present on topics of interest such as Men’s Health, treks up Kilimanjaro and the legends of Clane.
Sponsered by Clane Project Centre the Shed is going from strength to strength and had a very successful turn-out at the Clane Christmas Fair in December 2012.
If you – or a man you know – might like to spend time developing some new skills or sharing his skills with others, why not drop down to Unit 16 of the Thompson Enterprise Centre in Clane Business Park any Monday or Wednesday morning between 10 am and 1pm.
