Kildare Branch of Birdwatch Ireland was launched in 2010 and has been growing from strength to strength ever since. With regular meetings typically held in Naas, the branch also organises outings almost every month to locations near and far. All events are open to the public.

The Kildare Branch has supported our local Wild About Clane initiative. Branch members have led walks by the Liffey at different times of the year, have supported the opening of the Liffeyside Nature Park, and are assisting with the very successful Clane Nestbox Scheme.
